We are currently accepting abstracts for podium and poster nursing EBP/Research presentations for the NWINRC 29th Annual Conference Friday, November 1, 2024

All abstracts will be submitted online at the Northwest Indiana Nursing Research Consortium website. Submit here

Abstract Submission Guidelines

We strongly recommend that you cut/paste your abstract into the submission area.

A maximum of 8 author names may be listed on each abstract.

Include these four sections in your abstract: Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion.

The maximum word count for the body of the abstract is 300 words.
-
Do not include images, graphs or tables in the abstract.

Do not include author names or affiliations in the abstract.

Individuals may submit more than one abstract on different projects or research.

An abstract describing the same data may only be submitted once. Duplicate abstracts (reporting the same research or project) that are submitted under a different author will not be considered.

Abstracts must be received by SEPTEMBER 30, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be reviewed.

Once an abstract has been selected for presentation, it may not be revised prior to presentation at the NWINRC conference. Please proof your abstracts carefully for formatting, spelling, and grammar.

Submission of an abstract conveys permission to be included on the NWINRC's website.

The primary author will be notified of poster acceptance by October 15, 2024. The primary author is responsible for notifying co-authors.

Abstracts may be selected for both a poster and a rapid-fire (10 minute) podium presentation. Authors will be informed if they are selected for a podium presentation.

All presenting authors are required to register for the conference.
Poster Awards
Four poster award recipients will be selected to receive a $50.00 prize. One poster award will be designated for each of four categories: undergraduate student, graduate student, faculty, and clinician.
